The Choreography Company's mission is to provide creative, informational,
and decorative products for dance teachers and dancers. These products are all items I have found useful as a teacher myself. I love language and I believe that terminology is an essential and intergral part of ballet.
The flashcards and the book "Grand Plie to Grand Jete" contain the information I wanted my students to know. The small ballet books I found did not contain all the terms I found essential. These products explain the essential terms in an enjoyable and easy to read form.
The ballet terminology banners or wallpaper are a wonderful aid to the studio. The students are able to absorb terminology much faster after seeing the words. I think every studio would benefit from this lovely decoration.
At this point I have concentrated on notes for choreography more than video. Teachers love the easy to read format of "The Ballet Combination Book". Video is great, but if it comes with incomplete notes (or no notes at all), than you have to spend so much time viewing and reviewing the video to make notes before you go to the studio. I find good notes a must.
